Dr. Nina Krajnik is a psychoanalyst and supervisor with 15 years of clinical expertise, practicing in six languages: English, French, Spanish, Bosnian, Serbian, Slovenian.
A pioneer in addressing new symptoms in the Western Balkans, she completed her psychoanalytic formation at the University of Paris 8 – Vincennes Saint-Denis and within the framework of the World Association for Psychoanalysis (AMP), of which she is a member. She has extensive experience in treating anxiety, panic attacks, depression, eating disorders and alcoholism, having completed her clinical training at Saint Anne Hospital, the Adolescent Psychiatry Department of Aubervilliers Hospital, and Les Murets in Paris, as well as Sud Francilien in Yerres, France, and the BASIDA canter for addictions in Spain. Her academic research spans Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand. She is the editor-in-chief of the psychoanalytic publishing house Juno and the president and founder of the Institute for War and Environmental Trauma. She also leads the International School of Psychoanalysis – Lacan Balkan, which focuses on trauma in politically turbulent regions. A lecturer and organizer, she has led a series of international seminars and training programs on new symptoms in the technological era and during times of political crisis.
