Description
When I first started working therapeutically with patients in the Middle East, I looked for certain pointers that could enable me to truly understand the cases of Muslim patients. However, the material was scanty, haphazardly scattered, and mostly related to traditional therapy. It didn’t help and made it even more confusing.
Over time, I managed to collect my own systematized data based on regular observations, practical cases, reflections and sharing information with colleagues. This material helped me approach each case individually, respecting the cultural environment of the patient. Later the book was published. This is the book I always wanted to find and finally had to write it myself.
