Narratives of women who spent their lives in harems

Does the title of the article “How to become the best mistress in his harem” surprise you, a modern person? (Cosmopolitan September 2009 issue)? The concubine model is also well represented in the fashion world, especially in the luxury niche of such brands as Kenzo, Maje, Frey Wille and Bulgari. Not to mention Dior, which even named its collection “The favorite of a harem”. Does it mean that the topic of harem is not so outdated?
If we gather all the women in one closed space and remove the men from there, we will get a harem; but what happens if we place the men in a closed space and take the women out? This is where things get complicated.

In the imprisoned world of the harem, one can speak of a perversion of penetration into the culture, since the harem culture is based on a form of exploitation of pleasure, especially the sexual pleasure of women from an early age. Indeed, it seems that the female harem has been trained to regress to an infantile stage of partial drives: scopic through the gaze, oral through the tasting of dishes specially designed for gourmet pleasure, and anal sadistic through the restraint they exert on each other and which is aimed at them from the side of Sultana Valide and her son Sultan.
